Hi, I'm Leigh Ratcliffe, the owner and operator of Skyland AV Solutions. My passions include videography, photography and anything audio visual. I particularly love capturing off-the-cuff special moments, which is why I enjoy event photography both in my home city of Launceston and around the rest of the state of Tasmania.
Throughout this site you'll find examples of a range of video and photography projects I've captured at local and national events and businesses around Tasmania and Australia.
Alongside photography and videography, I have experience with audio visual tech for live events including live streaming, commercials for both television and social media, advertising, audio recording, social media management, drone videography and photography, and music production. I have a fond love of all things tech.

When I'm not behind a camera or running sound at an event, you'll usually find me out exploring Tasmania itself, the mountains, the coastline, the quiet backroads. That connection to the state is part of why I love capturing it for other people too, whether that's a wedding with Ben Lomond in the background or a corporate shoot in the Launceston CBD.
